About Quill:
Quill are a fantastic six piece band guaranteed to entertain and wow. They take their audience on a whirlwind ride of classic cover versions from moonlight shadow and jig a jig to come on eileen and whiskey in the jar.
joy strachan brain , the lead vocalist, energetically throws herself into the performance using fiddle player, kate mcwilliam, as her partner in crime as they play and dance around the stage. Wonderful eclectic vocals and harmonies amidst dueling guitar and violin are backed by solid bass, drums and keyboards.
Show Description:
Quill have many years experience, playing nationally and internationally performing arenas, corporate events, festivals, weddings and private parties.
they have enjoyed supporting many famous artists such as van morrison, the pretenders, paul carrack, simply red etc and always get a great reaction from the varied audiences.
Technical & Ryder Info:
Quill has a PA system that would be suitable up to a venue size of approx 400 people and have their own sound engineer. For larger venues we would suggest the customer hired a professional sound company.
Testimonials & References:
Quill will provide everything they need to put on their show (except for staging). It is a standard requirement for light refreshments and soft drinks for the band and crew. A dressing room for changing and somewhere to store empty cases and boxes.
