The saucy flapdragons are a six piece band based in sussex, uk.

the versatile line up allows all styles of music, although the basis of the band’s performance is normally 60s and 70s rock. All are accomplished musicians and the band is especially strong vocally, with no fewer than five of the six taking lead vocals.

the band puts on a great show and has built an excellent reputation in the functions and corporate area, performing at charity balls for sir steve redgrave’s golden five and grattan catalogues, plus corporate work for glaxo smithkline amongst others. The band also supports various local and national charities on a regular basis and is in demand for private functions across the uk and ireland. The performance is high energy and fast paced and the dance floor is always packed.

people have said that they are “a sensation” and “the best live band i’ve ever seen”. Of course there is no way of telling how much alcohol these speakers had consumed, or the nature of the incriminating photographs used to blackmail them into saying nice things. But when sir steve redgrave says “rock on flapdragons and sign me up for the fanclub!”, then it takes a brave man to disagree.
