Show Description:
The following acts are available:
A Very Special Bond:
An amazing aerial silk act featuring a Bond-like super spy twisting himself up in the silks and plummeting towards the ground. Inspired by classic burlesque and comedy, this act is perfect for parties, events and cabarets shows.
Credit crunch:
The recession has hit and this businessman knows his number is up. Starting in a hammock created out of the silks, he proceeds to perform a stunning routine combining elegant shapes with shocking drops, spilling his now-useless money at every twist and turn. Building towards a dramatic suicidal tumble, this act is both tragic and comical – as well as highly topical.
Z is for zachariah:
Inspired by the classic novel by robert c. O’brien, the last man alive stumbles into the light in a ghoulish gasmask. Looking slowly about, he surveys unseen devastation. Preferring death to life alone on a post-apocalyptic planet, he removes his gasmask and throws it down. He then twists his way up the rope, performing an aerial dance as he convulses to radiation sickness. This elegant yet raw routine was performed at edinburgh fringe festival 09 in the critically acclaimed tales of the apocalypse.
