About Squeal Band:

Formed in early 2006, they have already played at many pubs, clubs, functions & weddings with great success.

squeal are 4 dedicated musicians who have a drive and passion for playing live music….it is our quest to brighten peoples lives with our music!

squeal faithfully reproduce all of your favourite current pop/rock hits and old classics from bands such as the beatles, the kaiser chiefs, the red hot chill peppers, the fratellis, madness, the zutons, the police, oasis, the rolling stones, the monkees and many, many more to a standard that some say are “better than the original”.

collectively squeal boast over 60 years of performing experience despite their average age of 30! Individually their work has been heard/performed on radio 1, xfm, bbc essex, essex fm, sound republic (home of the pepsi chart show) and major festivals in the uk and europe.

squeal are well rounded musicians who each excel in their particular field. They have quite a pedigree amongst them comprising former members of top southeast acts such as the ‘loonie baloonies’ and ‘fabulous feedback band’ and having also played alongside members of ‘the bears’. This coupled with many years of experience on the originals circuit in central london gives them the experience required to give you an evening to remember.


squeal have been together in their current line up for approx. 2 years. Despite this relatively short period they have gone from strength to strength winning audiences over from the off! The majority of squeal work to date is by word of mouth which goes some way in expressing the polished light hearted experience that our audiences have the pleasure of enjoying!

squeal are enthusiastic and passionate about performing live music and a “splendid time is guaranteed for all!”

Show Description:

squeal use a state of the art pa system and combined with the use of a roland ‘v drum’ kit can offer the live band experience whilst being able to provide a polished sound that can be volume controlled via the pa – very useful at weddings when volume can be an issue! We also use a traditional drum kit for club/pub gigs meaning that squeal can offer any service required of them.

Dear Squeal,

Thank you so much for making our wedding so enjoyable. We have never seen so many people dancing at a wedding and all night long, even our parents.

You got the mixture of music exactly right and though slightly painful (our dancing abilities not your playing) at points we very much enjoyed your version of Girl from Mars, and we managed to squeeze a mosh in at the end.



We are still receiving comments from our guests on how superb you all were. The last song of the night (Back for Good) went down particularly well. Adam is extremely grateful to you for letting him perform Great Balls of Fire.

You were captured on camera so we have attached a photo of you all and some dancers.



I do hope you enjoyed the evening and managed to get some refreshments in between sets.

Dear Squeal,



Just wanted to thank you and the band for the outstanding job you guys did at our wedding.


Its been a hell of a month for myself and Yvonne and its all just starting to sink in. It all started with the perfect day we had at the Warren. I hope you guys enjoyed yourselves. We have had some fantastic comments from
people about you guys and you should know that everyone really enjoyed the music and the performance.

We had the most fantastic day and you guys played a big part in making our day so excellent.

We just wanted to express our thanks for the fantastic performance at our wedding on 6 April 2007. Claire and I loved the music you played and had a fabulous evening (I think we danced to every song!) and couldn't have asked for more.



We have had lots of positive feedback from our guests who also loved the music.



Is it possible to send us a playlist of the songs you performed that night? We had drunk quite a lot and can only remember some of the songs!!! No worries if not, it would just be nice to keep a record so we can reminisce in the future!



We would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone looking at hiring a band for a great nights entertainment. We would also love to see you play again in the future so will keep a look out for your upcoming gigs.



PS Hope our performance of 'Half a world away' was not too bad to endure!
