About The Big Funk Choir:
Set up as part of the big funk stable. Led by andrew wood mitchellthe big funk choir is made up of london based soul session vocalists who have performed with artists including the michael bolton, natlie cole, the gorillas, calvin harris, incognito, tom jones, billy ocean, van morrison, the shapeshifters, the stereo mc's, the streets and many other major performers. The choir has worked with the full line up of big funk corporation or solo pianist.

Headline shows tend to be put together for special concert events such as "the roots of soul exeprience", "a christmas soul" album lauch held at the pigale club in 2008 and most recently a male segment performed at trafalgar square for the 2009 hope charity christmas appeal. The choir doesn't wear formal costumes but funky but smart outfits of the vocalist choosing.
