About Tea4three:

Tea for three was formed in 2005 and has played at functions in most of the top london hotels and also all over the southeast of england. Recently they have embarked upon cruise work taking them all around europe and america.

gone are the days of the palm court salon orchestra entertaining at the ritz for high society events. Tea for three recreates the music of the 1890's through to 1930's in the ever popular format of the palm court piano trio. This stylish ensemble is perfect for wedding receptions, afternoon tea parties, and evening soirees. The light classical music and smart tails worn by the trio will help add the sophisticated atmosphere and touch of class that your guests will talk about for years to come. Tea for three is the perfect finishing touch for any event.

andrew blakemore (pianist) has been playing the piano since the age of five. He recently graduated from trinity college of music with first class honours and was awarded prizes in both solo and collaborative performance.

andrew's principal interest is chamber music and accompaniment. He is a founder member of the ladrowski duo and tea 4 three and has broadcast as an accompanist on bbc television and premier radio.

a fourth generation musician kit massey (violinist) was awarded a scholarship to trinity college of music where he studied with andrew haveron and michael bochmann. There he won several prizes for performance and chamber music as well as leading the string ensemble and the symphonia. His performances have taken him as far a field as india, the lebanon and the montreaux and berlin jazz festivals. He television work includes hand-doubling for rupert everett in the bbc's latest production of "sherlock holmes".

william burrows (cellist) graduated from the royal college of music in 2004 where he studied cello with alexander boyarsky. Previous to his undergraduate studies william studied at trinity college of music junior department where he first met andrew and kit and studied alongside them. At the r.c.m. William was awarded both the anna shuttleworth prize for solo cello and the cobbett and hurlstone prize. William is a keen chamber and orchestral player, pursuing an extremely varied career as a freelance musician in london. He has also appeared as a concerto soloist with the lalo, stanford and boccherini concerti.

Our ensembles are well established and we have had extensive experience of performing for functions, weddings, recitals and on cruise ships all around the globe. We are very interested in gaining more work for functions in and around london and performing on more cruise lines as classical artists. As classical artists on ships we can tailor our programmes to be as light or serious as required by the company.

tea4three provide music of a light classical style, with the addition of some more jazzy numbers and show medleys. Their repertoire includes a list of tunes people will know and are common requests at gigs.

if a piano is not available at your venue we have an excellent electric piano that can be transported anywhere. As long as we can plug the keyboard into a socket, we are as portable as any other ensemble.
