About Peanut The Clown:
(From 1989 to present day) as ‘peanut the clown’ i have made over a dozen tv appearances. I have performed to over 500,000 children. I have worked in over 1000 schools and performed at over 200 festivals and arts events. I have appeared on blue peter, and over a dozen other children's tv programmes. I have had two documentaries done on my work (for yorkshire televison) i specialize in teaching circus skills and performance to children in schools and performing my instant circus at children's parties.i am a registered service provider for yorkshire & humberside region.i have a particular interest in working with disabled children. I hold a first degree in developmental psychology and i was made a fellow of the royal society of arts in 1995 for my work with leeds childrens circus - a national educational charity based in the innercity community of chapeltown in leeds, that i started upon returning from a winston churchill memorial trust tour of european circus schools.
Show Description:
I specialize in the two main areas of children's parties and circus skils workshops in schools, though also have a walkabout street act that goes down well with clients. I trained at fooltime in bristol and with john lee in london and then worked full time for snapdragon circus in yorkshire. I started and ran the leeds children's circus (the circus school for children) for over 17 years. I am happy to work in a wide variety of settings for a wide range of clients because peanut is so adaptable,flexible...and friendly!

I need a clean, clear space at least 15' square, with a power supply nearby, and perferably natural light. I require clear advice about nearby parking and an easy get-in or help with carrying my equipment (3 x two handed loads!).
