Testimonials “Hi Steve, Adrian and i would like to say a big thank you for an amazing set. All our guests had such a good time and we certainly enjoyed it. Your singers were absolutely brilliant and the band were fantastic. We were really pleased also you were able to play our requests at the end. Top night. We hoped you enjoyed playing for us and thank you so much for helping making our wedding the most enjoyable day of our lives. We wish you all the best for the future with your new singers. Thank you so much again!” - The new Mr.& Mrs Sinclair, Newly Weds, Essex, July 2009 “Thank you so much for the fantastic entertainment you provided for our wedding. As everyone said – it rocked! Funkty Dumpty managed to pull off a real party atmosphere, which is exactly what we asked of you. We have had many wonderful letters about how our friends and family enjoyed the celebrations and many have specified how the music was superb. The dance floor was full from beginning to end. Thanks also for your flexibility to deliver everything as we required. We would have no hesitation to recommend you and hope to book you for any future suitable events.” - Jo Feather, Bride, Knaresborough, July 2009 “Wow, all I can say is why aren't you guys famous! :-) You were amazing and I've had such positive feedback and people wanting your details. Worth every penny, thank you! x” - Tara Guthrie, Bride, June 2009 “Thank you Funkty Dumpty for your recent performance at the Annual Duchy College Summer Ball. A great mix of songs, superbly performed, gave the College one of its most memorable and enjoyable nights. All students and staff look forward to seeing you again next year!” - Ciaran Ryder, Senior Warden, Duchy College, June 2009 “Dear Steve, You guys were brilliant! Thank you so much! Louise and Lisa were fantastic and I especially loved the first dance. We had such an amazing time at the wedding and I'm sure the success of the evening was largely down to you guys. I can honestly say that I think I spent almost the entire night on the dance floor and I'm pretty sure that it wasn't empty for a second. A special highlight for me was my 88 year old Grandma having a boogie! We have had such fun looking at all the photos and seeing everyone having a good time dancing! There are some interesting video clips too! I must say a special thank you for accommodating the slightly random tamborine request and being patient with some probably rather poor percussionists!! I would happily reccommend you to others (we have a few friends not married yet!) and also very pleased that you were able to make the journey to Cambridge! Thanks also for playing so many encores - if people had had there way I suspect we've have all been there til the small hours!” - Kate & Tim, Newly Weds, Cambridge, June 2009 “Hi Steve, Sorry for the delayed response but we have had an extended honeymoon and believe me we needed the rest after all that dancing! You guys were absolutely fab and Louise and Lisa did a great job! I think you could tell how much everyone enjoyed themselves by the “more… more!” chants when you tried to finish! All our guests have commented on how good you were and I don’t think we could have squeezed another person on the dance floor if we tried!!! The only thing I would say was I wish the party could have started a bit earlier! But I appreciate the speeches over ran, so you guys started setting up later than expected. But apart from that the evening was absolutely faultless and I’d recommend you to anyone and everyone – in fact I think I already have! Maybe we’ll have to book you for the Christening in a few years time, he he he! Thanks again and sorry I didn’t get a chance to personally thank you all on the night. Kindest Regards,” - Kerry Burch, Bride & Producer on This Morning (ITV), Frome, May 2009 “I am sorry it has taken me a while to get back to you since the wedding but I've been away on honeymoon. Funkty Dumpty were AMAZING!!!!! They went far beyond our expectations and everyone was raving about them! I would have no hesitation whatsoever to recommend them for other events and indeed I have already given your details to a few of my friends who are getting married over the next year. I was a very disorganized bride and didn't even manage to get hold of the band before the day to say what kind of music we liked and in the end just got one of the ushers to give them a printout of their playlist with stars next to the ones we liked - not the best client I know! However, they were fantastic and played all our favourite music and had everyone dancing as soon as they started and we didn't stop dancing until 5am! I'm only sorry that I didn't get a chance to thank them in person before they left. Please could you pass on my thanks and I wish them great success in the future. I will definitely be looking them up again if I hold another event (not for a long time I suspect as I'm shattered after organizing the wedding!).” - Lisa, Bride, Cheshire, May 2009 “Everyone absolutely LOVED them! I've had so many people come up to me telling me how good they thought they were. They loved their song choices and how they got everyone on the dance floor. They arrived with plenty of time to set up as well which is always a bonus and were very good in letting us use some of their equipment for an open mic session beforehand. Thanks a lot!” - Danny & Sarah Parker, Newly Weds, Wiltshire, May 2009 “Hi Steve, Just a quick email to say another massive thank you for your hard work on Saturday! We had an absolutely fantastic day, as did everyone else I think! We had a lot of comments about how good the band were and Nicky's cousin is interested in booking you for their wedding in Cornwall!” - Chris & Nicky, Newly Weds, Lincolnshire, 9th May 2009 “The guests LOVED the band and are still telling us! They really made an impact on our wedding so thank you very much. You were great. Tommy has 4 unmarried brothers so we'll be passing the details on! Thanks for all your help. We've been recommending you already! ” - Tommy & Sarah Moran, The Hurlingham Club, London, 8th May 2009 “Hi Steve, I'm so glad that you enjoyed playing at our wedding. We had a fantastic day and have just returned from a lovely honeymoon in Bali! Both James and I thought you were wonderful. It was amazing to see all of our friends and family dancing, from old to young, everybody really enjoyed themselves. You and Funkty Dumpty were an integral part of our wedding and helped make it the best day of our lives and I can't thank you enough! ” - Rebecca & James, Newly Weds, Taunton, 2nd May 2009 “To Everyone at Funkty Dumpty, just a little note to say thank you for helping to make our day so special, your performance was fantastic, we couldn't of wished for a better band. You got the party going immediately and made a fantastic atmosphere, all our friends commented on how brilliant you were and we would recommend you for any party!.” - Natasha & Mark, Newly Weds, Bath, April 2009 “We had Funkty Dumpty to perform at our wedding reception and were really impressed. They performed beyond our expectations and really made the evening celebrations take off! The band were professional, friendly and our guests loved them. The singing was great and general atmosphere really lively! We would strongly recommend them. Thank you so much for making our evening so special.” - Sam and Jess, Newly Weds, Bath, April 2009 “Hi Steve, Adrian here! We had a great night, all the guests we have spoken to since, have said how good you were, I only wish we didn’t have to go around and talk to so many people, because we could have spent more time up on the dance floor, we would have no problem in recommending you to friends and to be honest, you will probably pick up business from the guests that were there anyway! It was also refreshing to be able to hear a band, instead of going deaf listening to one, as has happened in the past at other weddings we have attended! Only another 5 years until my 40th Birthday… you do play birthdays don't you?! Thanks again for a great night.” - Adrian & Jo, Newly Weds, Taunton, March 2009 “I just wanted to extend thanks from all at Factor 3 for a fantastic night's entertainment provided by Funkty Dumpty. I don't think I have ever seen so many people dancing at our annual party for our clients and the shouts of 'more' at the end of the evening were testament to how much everyone enjoyed the music.” - Amanda Keane, Factor 3, Cheltenham, September 2008
